Booking & Delivery

Upon booking you will be given a hire confirmation to confirm that your booking is on our system. We will then contact you on the weekend before your hire date to work out logistics and confirm over the phone your booking details.

On the day of delivery our installation team will contact you to give you a 3 hour window of installation.

Please make sure that there is adequate parking (or a permit provided) near your property, that we have clear and sufficient access to the area where the equipment needs to be installed, and that the area is large enough for the equipment ordered and cleared in preparation for installation.

Collection

On the day of collection our installation team will contact you with a time window to arrange collection of our equipment.

If delivery dates, times or any other details need to be changed, please contact us by phone or email.

Installation

A typical Dome installation will take on average up to 2 hours depending on the size of the Dome, installation area and package that has been booked. On the day of installation our team will contact you to work out a time frame for delivery.

We do ask for a relatively flat surface area which can be either; grass, decking, patio Astroturf, loose fitting or paved slab. As we supply floor matting and rugs, we ask that the area is cleaned and ready for installation. Electricity within 15m should be provided (we carry our own extension cables) and direct access to the installation area should be provided, as well as a place to park nearby the property.

In order to prepare for installation, please check the size chart on the individual Dome to determine the surface area needed for a dome to be installed, these sizes are as follows:

Small Dome – 2.5m base diameter
Medium Dome – 3.2m base diameter
Large Dome – 4.2m base diameter

Commonly asked questions

To help offer you more information we have entered below the answers to the questions we are asked most commonly by new customers:-

Can the Cinema Dome Package be used during the day?

Unfortunately no. Because our Domes are transparent and the projection of a cinema screen need at least 70% of light to be blocked out, our cinema dome package is not suitable for daytime use, and to only be used as a cinema during the evening. For this reason we do offer a 3m x 3m blackout gazebo package which can be found by clicking here.

Can the Dome be set up on Grass?

Yes it can be set up on grass, however we do recommend that the area is clean and relatively flat to make the use of the Dome more enjoyable. It is also worth mentioning that you may experience some browning of the grass due to the weight of the equipment upto 2 weeks after the dome is collected

Can I ask for a specific delivery time?

We can offer either a morning or a afternoon delivery with a 3 hour time window. This is due to the amount of work required to prepare for a Dome setup, traffic conditions and other hire installations on that day. As a rule of thumb we will always prioritise pre booked customers over last minute customers.

Will the Dome withstand wind?

The Dome with the weights will withstand upto 40 miles per hour winds, if the forecast or weather condition become torrential or we determine that a dome would be unsafe to install we will contact you as soon as possible.

How much is delivery and collection?

Delivery is available upon request so do contact us for an accurate quote.

If applicable, we reserve the right to pass on any additional surcharges at cost (e.g. Congestion Charge).
